The Missouri Sunshine Coalition supports Missouri citizens in exercising their rights under the landmark Sunshine Law — a mission that is a blend of education and advocacy and that never has been more important than during these remarkable times.
The Missouri Sunshine Coalition promotes awareness of open and transparent government. Our members help keep the public informed of the abuses of open government and hold elected officials accountable for those actions that ignore the public’s legal right to truly public meetings and access to government records

The Missouri Sunshine Coalition is a non-partisan, non-profit organization dedicated to promoting transparency in government and access to government meetings and information for citizens.
We assist Missourians who have questions about obtaining information from or access to their government and we sponsor trainings to help you get the material you need and government officials to provide it.
You don’t have to be a lawyer or a journalist to join us: All interested citizens are invited.
We hold an annual meeting that’s open to all our members. Your input is valued.
